I saw that in today's paper.

I was one of those who really did want to believe in Anastasia....that she survived and lived to be an old woman.  DNA testing finally put that theory to rest, though.

The life of Anna Anderson - the woman who claimed to be Anastasia - is still fascinating.  I read a book about her life a few years back.

One of the Russian royal families' closest relatives would be Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II:  http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_Prince_Phillip_any_connections_to_the_Russian_Royal_family

I'm happy that they know now what finally happened to the Romanov's but sad that they really were killed. I was hoping that they escaped.
