Set in South Africa, a psychologist, Clare, allies with an out of favor Muslim detective, Reidwaan, when his daughter is kidnapped and he is the prime suspect. An excellent police procedural and mystery when you KNOW who the bad guys are: drug lords and manipulators who will stop a nothing to intimidate, corrupt and coerce political and police figures to continue their destruction of society by destroying children and teens, especially children of police personnel.
