Pre-adolescent daughter Nancy June reacts to the pill-induced maturation by conspiring with the boy next door to build a terrorist bomb. Wife Connie, annoyed by her husband's paranoia, enters an affair that has the effect of touching off a neighborhood powderkeg. Dad wonders if things finally haven't gotten out of hand.
