I really enjoyed this book. It was different, funny and insightful. It is especially funny in the beginning. The protagonist, known by a long number, is called out of his grave by "Death" for a 7 day trial run as Death's apprentice. And he was feeling so cozy in his coffin!...He doesn't like being a zombie as it takes some adjusting to. Musings on the mysteries of life (and death) are intertwined with the zombie's sense of humor about it all. If you like black comedy and well written books, you'll love this one!

Witty book about one man's experience in the afterlife. I laughed out loud in places.
