The third response, "the way of the aggressor," is the attempt to assault the world into submission, stressing the will and our agencies of action.
"The way of the pilgrim," which Jesus Christ symbolizes and actualizes, is declared the appropriate style of life for today. It involves all the basic human faculties but suggests their use in a way that transfigures them. The elements in the pilgrim's way are examined: love, having a cornerstone, becoming involved, learning always to grow, seeking spontaneity.« less
