I was just wondering if anyone had read this and if so what you thought of it. I have it and read about 15 pages and just not sure that I can read it lol.

I started it but couldn't finish.  Just skimmed the end.  But to be fair I'm not really into medievals.  That time period is not romantic to me, it just brings to mind death, darkness and dirt, LOL.  I started it because someone told me how good it was.  To each his/her own!

LOL @ Bronwyn! I agree, the medevial period is not my fave either. If love scenes include the guy running his hands over her legs, all I can think is: Do medevial women shave? Add that to not bathing= Yikes! ;)

I liked this book but I really loved DANEGELD by Susan Squires

Here is part of a review from the AAR book review site--it says it all. It was rated  A

"Readers, throw away any preconceived notions you might have of a pretty medieval romance. Danegeld is unique. It is not the usual romance set in the High Middle Ages, featuring elegant ladies and chivalrous knights. Danegeld takes place during the Dark Ages. There is no elegance. Homes are rude huts. People are ignorant and either brutal or brutalized. Wounds fester and stink and people die young. This is a dark book - but it is not depressing. It is a journey of discovery for the main characters and a superb evocation of the Dark Ages for the reader. I am thankful that Susan Squires wrote such a different book and that Leisure was willing to publish it.

Lol, well I think I might have to give it another go, I'm kinda iffy about medievels anyway.   I think it just depends on my mood maybe......
