I liked this story. It's an unusual kind of romance with an unexpected ending (Well, not very ending, but towards the end). I think any romance/mystery reader will like it. However, if you like just mysteries, you probably won't like it. If you like just romances, you won't like it. Fortunately, I like both genres. it's also a very fast read.

MISSING JEWELS, AN OMINOUS WARNING, AND A GENTLEMAN TO FEAR - OR TO LOVE...
In the wake of their father's passing, the orphaned Standish sisters appeal to their mother's wealthy friend, Lady Norwood, for help. In response, they receive an anonymous note, a scrawled warning to stay away from Norwood House and, soon after, a most unexpected escort. Lady Norwood's stepson, the handsome, darkly brooding Sir Richard, clearly suspects the sisters of unabashed fortune hunting. Begrudgingly, he accompanies Margeurite and Celia to Bath, where Lady Norwood has gone to recover her health...and where Margeurite hopes to find a match for the beautiful but reticent Celia. Instead, she finds intrigue - and murder.
Falsely accused of thievery and swept up in the most compromising situations, Marguerite and Celia dodge scandal at every turn. Then another dire warning appears. But Marguerite holds the trump card: an inscribed locket found amongst her late mother's possessions. Proving its rightful owner may be the key to securing their happiness, as the sisters set out to find the solution to a lifelong puzzle - and the sweet mystery of love.
