Boy, talk about stubborn people! For two supposedly well-educated and intelligent people, this hero & heroine were remarkably stupid, just compounding and complicating their problems. The story itself was well written, but its been done before.

I couldnt put the book down, but I wanted to throw it against the wall a few times. For such an intelligent and educated woman she sure was stupid sometimes. You feel the pain of Emilian, he is a hurt man. For 300 pages Emilian told Ariella he didnt want anything from her besides sex, for 300 pages she fought to get him to love her. For 300 pages, she would chase him because it was love at first sight. If you can get over wanting to shake the heck out of her then it is a good book. Otherwise good book. Plot was good, sex was steamy, action was all through.

My absolute favorite schene it the writer's description of the Gypsy dancing. It was erotic and mesmerizing, it's a keeper on my shelf just for that scene.

I really like Brenda Joyce but this book was awful. The hero was a jerk and the heroine was tstl. She had no pride or self-esteem and was willing to be used again and again.

This is another de Warrene novel by Brenda Joyce. It is just as good as the rest of them. I love this series. After reading so many books with these characters, I feel like they are almost family. I would suggest it to anyone who loves a passionate romance.
