This is such a good book. It is the story of a couple who built a boat in anticipation of making a three year trip with their whole family. However the two boys did not get along so the oldest boy decided he would not go. The father of the boys father fell ill so they decided to return home. On the way home tragedy befell them. The oldest boy tried to find out what happened but was stymied at every turn. So he decided to write this book. The writing is good and you can feel his dispair as he tries to figure out what happened. This was also written up in Ann Rules, "But I Trusted You." crime files #14, however not as good as the book.
