Danforth's genuine interest in people hels him recognize that each peoson has a special gift. Throughing out the challange, "Be your own self and at your very best all the time." he delighted in seeing talents develop and potential be fulfilled. Great positive how to 'dare yourself' book.

I first read "I Dare You!" ages ago when I was in high school. I was super shy, so it took several years and numerous readings before I could work up the courage to apply all of Mr. Danforth's advice, but I worked into it slowly, and it worked for me! Next to the Bible, this has been the most influential book I've read in my life.
I still read it at least every other year or so, just as a "booster shot".
