Drivel. I have kept Brenda Joyce on my bookselves to re-read, but this book is bleah. I don't like Tabby, and the fact that she sees a man once AND SHE LOVES HIM. Yuck. I'm glad I didn't spend money on this book and just traded for it.

Yet another great installment in the Masters of Time series.

Tabby, a witch from 2008 New York, has traveled back to 1298 Scotland to help Macleod come to terms with the massacre of his entire family when he was a boy. His revenge has lasted 97 years as he systematically kills off the Macdougal clan as they destroyed his.

Of course, there is a sub-plot as well. An evil demon spirit is seeking revenge against Macleod as well and stalking Tabby.

This is good stuff

Another great addition to the Masters of Time Series! Loved it! Joyce is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. MacLeod is another hot, bad-boy Highlander who carries his own emotional scars deep inside. Of course he is the ultimate lover and takes what he wants from whomever he wants and when he wants. He is desired by all women but feared by them as well. That is until the beautiful and elegant Rose witch, Tabitha finds her way into his life. His stubborness is no match for her love. The Rose women too, always get what they want... their man! I love the strong, determined women Joyce creates in this series. They love deeply and remain persistant despite the sometimes horrible treatment they endure from the men they love (who also love them but may not admit it at the time). Tabitha is the epitome of the strong and determined woman. Gotta love her. Can't wait to read the next book in the series that will allow readers to meet the last Rose sister and maybe the most stubborn of them all...Samantha!

Highland warriors sworn to protect Innocence through the ages….

Fierce and powerful, Guy Macleod is every inch a Highland warrior. Yet his future is uncertain. Tormented by his family’s murder, he rejects his noble vows in pursuit of revenge—until he’s compelled to leap to the aid of a beautiful enchantress in modern-day Manhattan. One look at Tabitha Rose, and Guy knows he must possess her—body and soul.
A destiny that won’t be denied

Tabby has never met a man she wanted more, despite Guy’s macho ways. But her powers—and their newfound desire—are challenged by a jealous evil, and a supernatural showdown seems inevitable. Somehow, Guy must keep Tabby safe…and hold on to their dream of a love that transcends centuries.
