I love fairy tales, but I love re-imagined fairy tales more. Therefore, I had high hopes for this book. I wouldn't say I was disappointed, just not as thrilled as I hoped to be.
There were some stories that I really enjoyed, and some that I forced myself to read through hoping desperately they would get better as I went along. Some were funny, a couple were thought-provoking--overall it was a pleasant feel=good read.
