I had one book to put in my mailbox and just missed the mailman. The problem is it has PBS postage and D/C and the date is today. Now, I can't get to the PO because of lack of transportation until after PO hours. Can I put it in one of slots inside the PO or in the bluebox tonight? Or, do I have to go to the PO tomorrow and change the date to tomorrow? Grrr,,,, Why oh why did the mailman have to come this early, he's NEVER earlier than 3:30! lol

Hi Connie. Since you used PBS postage just pop it into the nearest blue box. No need to even go in the PO. Hope this helps.

USPS can apply a date strip at the counter. I'm unfamilar with guidelines for blue boxes.
