on the front page, I just ordered "The Boy Who Loved Anne Frank".  What have you gotten lately that you didn't set out to get?

Is it just me, or does it seem that if you hit it right, you bypass the Wish List? Or maybe it is just alternate versions available.

I think it's alternate versions. I saw Pillars of the Earth there, but the edition I wanted was WL'd.  I do love the home page.  I've found several books that I hadn't planned to order and some that I'll order in the future.  It's my favorite new feature on PBS.

I've succumbed to a couple that were posted that weren't on my WL, just my RL--seemed like it was an 'impulse buy', KWIM?

Oh yeah...I've used up many credits I probably wouldn't have with that new feature!  It's a love/hate feature with me (but mostly love it, it feeds my addiction).  :o)

Yeah, I agree it has the feeling of "impulse buy", grin!

So far I've resisted the temptation of ordering something I saw there but I have added quite a few to the reminder list :)

Mimi - I hear you!  That feature is causing my TBR pile to grow by leaps and bounds!  Just today I added 9 books to the "wish list" I keep written down in my day planner.  Aaackk!  I would've ordered them all if I had any credits!  And yes, The Boy Who Loved Anne Frank was one I too added to my wish list!

oh my. that section is my pitfall. my "reminder list" is completely out of control. I try not to get stuff on a whim but it's so hard!! and then I end up using all my credits on things I ordinarily wouldn't. :) still it's a nice feature
