I was browsing in B&N today - don't ask why... not like I don't have Mt TBR at home PLUS a Kindle!  But anyway....

I found two books written by Dawn Cook, who apparently is also Kim Harrison.  I had never heard that she wrote under another name - am I the last one to know?  I went ahead and picked up First Truth today, and will probably start it tonight.

I think she even address it on her website. 

She only came out with this within the last year. I was shocked. And at least it explained to me why Dawn Cook seemed to just disappear; she was busy writing another series I had fallen in love with. I wish she would write some more in the Truth series, though. I love those books.

i remembered reading they were the same person a while ago, but trying to find that on the web all i could find was rumors without any confirmation.  i saw that at the bookstore too, and checked again and now it's on Kim Harrison's website.  i guess they figured that would help sell more of her earlier books!

i liked the Truth series, and i have the Princess series in TBR that i need to get to at some point.

Oh I agree she may not have confirmed it till last year...but I think it was still pretty well known even w/o her offical confirmation.

She said herself that she denied being Dawn Cook to anyone who asked. I actually chatted with her about this on her facebook awhile back.
