If you like books with lyrical wording and deep, emotional stories, you will enjoy these two books. They cover a whole range of emotions. "The Dead Don't Dance" is the story of Dylan and Maggie, who are very much in love and awaiting the birth of their first child, a son. The child is stillborn, Maggie hemorrhages and slips into a coma, and Dylan is left to deal with a lifetime of emotions in a short period of time. "Maggie" is the follow-up book and the story becomes even more compelling. I enjoy books with deep, lush prose that paints a vivid mental and emotional picture and these two books certainly fit that bill. I can recommend them without reservation and can say that it was definitely worth the wait to find these two books. I can hardly wait to dive into "Wrapped In Rain" and "When Crickets Cry".
