This is four of the master's short stories on two cassettes, unabridged. They are read, not dramatized. The stories are:
o With Death in his Corner
o One Last Gun Notch
o Trap of Gold
o The Marshall of Painted Rock
The first one is set in the 30s or 40s featuring private eye Kip Morgan, a tough guy in the Black Mask mold. It was a lot of fun. The rest are stories from the Old West, though not featuring any of L'Amour's series characters.
They're not great stories like the Sackett or Bowdrie stories, but they are still fun to listen to, especially if you like 30s to 50s pulp fiction--like I do.
