While this story was thorough, detailed and well organized, there was no "BANG" to it. I wouldn't exactly term it 'romantic suspense,' as there was only one romantic moment. The suspense was somewhat predictable as well. It was an excellent premise, but it just didn't cause any emotional movement for me while I was reading it.

I bought it b/c of the back cover and the fact that they listed a quote from Cindy Gerard. For those who are Gerard fans, this is NOTHING like her books: no hot guy in uniform that makes your blood move, no gripping plots that have you wondering what will happen next, no inability to put the book down moments... in fact, it took me a week to read this one, while Cindy's take me about 5 hours.

very disappointed!! I had looked forward to this one but it is boring, I didn't find the characters likable at all and page after page of descriptions and it just moved so slow but with all the describing going on nothing could move. By page 150 there wasn't much movement toward finding anything on the kidnapping. very disappointed!!
