Easily readable and insightful look into how advertising sells more than the products. Kilbourne is the expert, and she tells part of her life story along with good research and examples - oftentimes very startling ones - showing how the two are intertwined. A must-read.

Informative book about advertising, children, women's issues, and addictions (food, alcohol, and nicotine). It was easier to read than I thought it would be. A must read for those into the afforementioned topics.
