I'm looking for books by authors similar to R.L. Stine, Lael Littke, Diane Hoh, Richie Tankersley Cusick, etc. But NOT actually these authors.

I'm actually looking for a particular book, and maybe if you've heard of it OR have it on your shelf you could let me know. I'll happily browse your shelf if you have tons of books that are teen authors from the 90s, however.

I can't remember the title of the book, but it is about a girl and a boy--teenagers--and I believe the boy lives in the forest under some kind of curse or something. She meets him and falls in love with him, but he stays in the forest. The book would have been mass market size, probably no more than 200 pages. The cover has the boy on it, and he looks like he's covered in leaves and moss. He has dark curly (?) hair and non-human eyes.

Does this sound familiar???
