I can't find enough audio books on PBS.  I spend $100-200 a month on books online and in stores.  I did get one good audio book from the library,

but I don't like that time limit factor.  I do not care for sites that require a monthly fee.  If only I could drive,I think I could solve it by checking out the

HPB outlet, but it's pretty far away.  I'm stuck in an impossible situation.

I kinda have a small shelf, but I'm currently having a 3-for-1 deal on all audio cassettes on my shelf-- just order 1 and pm the ones you want for free!

I dragged my feet getting an Audible membership. But they just have the biggest selection of all audio sites! And you can download them - no CDs to feed your computer. I got a deal on Amazon Local where I pay only $9 for the first 6 months They have deals for new subscribers all the time.

Once you have a membership, you get more offers, better deals! Every day there is a Daily Deal. Sometimes you get a free book. THis month I bought 4 books for about $10 and get a coupon for $10 next month. (With buying Kindle books, a lot of the audios are just a few bucks - sometimes it's cheaper to buy the Kindle AND the reduced audio than just the audio.)

Check out Books on the Knob blog for leads (lower right hand corner) on all kinds of sales.  She says If you cancel your membership but not your account, you can stay in for $10 a year and still get all the sales. And you can cancel your membership (but not your account so you have access to your library online) and restart the paying membership when you want.

I think I have about 50 audio cassettes posted, I can do a 2 for 1 deal on any of the audio cassettes or paperbacks.  I don't offer deals on the audio CDs.  Good luck finding What your looking for, sometimes it can be quite challenging... Becky

I have sent you a PM with a list of the audio books on CD that I have.  I also have some on cassette that I did not list.  If you are interested in the casettes, please let me know and I will send another PM.
