Even after 50+ years since the Vietnam War this book with it's letters home will still move some to tears, some to anger, and hopefully all to appreciate what the men and women who served, fought and died in 'Nam thought and lived. An excerpt from the book:
4 Feb 68

Hello All,
Once again I haven't written but I haven't had too much time. Today is the 4th. 14 days left in the field and then I should be headed back to CONUS (Continental United States).
By the way, did you receive my $134.00 check I sent about Jan.3rd? I can't write too long, we are going out in about an hour for an ambush. Here is a $159.00 check plus my W-2. I'll tell you-- it's a hard way to make $1206.00.

Love,
Jim

Great letters from Vietnam soldiers. Heartwrenching, but also a valuable historical eyewitness account.
