I really didn't like this book. In fact, I couldn't finish it. The book kept switching back and forth between Nannie and Alice and it was very confusing. I just felt like the book wasn't going anywhere. I hope someone else finds the meaning of it.
I gave this book 4.5 stars. I thought the writer had talent, and did a great women's friendship story with a mystery thrown in. Add to that the self discovery the two surviving women experience, and you have a great book.
