I wouldn't read this book while home alone. It was scary and hard to put down. If you like Wendy Corsi Staub, this book is for you. I thought it was a whole lot better than Mary Higgins Clark's recent books!

I found this book tedious and boring as hell. I kept thinking "get to the point already". I must admit that I didn't finish this one as I just couldn't get into it. I gave it 100 pages and quit. I just didn't care one way or the other what happened to them.

The three women in this trap are irritating as hell. They are so desperate for a man that they fall right into his trap without suspecting a thing. I hate it when you can't identify with or relate to any of the characters. It makes it very hard to care what's going to happen to them.

This was a good read, but not as good as some of her earlier works.

Sandy, Liza, and Jennie (pretending to be her twin sister) are all about to make a journey in which not all of them will survive. The past is about to come back to haunt them in the form of a man who has been a part of each of their lives.
Wendi Corsi Staub has written a good solid thriller, it's not really a mystery because fairly early on she reveals who this stranger is. The intrigue of this book is the unfolding of the story and learning how each woman made an impact on this man's life and how he reacts to that impact. The characters are fun, real, and engaging. If there is a moral to this story, it's be careful how you treat others, you may not live to regret it.

It was kind of slow starting out, but sure made up for it at the end. One of those books where you can't wait to finish it to find out what happens, but don't want to finish it cause then your thru. LOL

The three women were strangers when they first arrived at the Bramble Rose Inn. Sandy Cavelli came to the windswept island resort to meet the romantic guy who answered her personal ad. Liza Danning hoped to land a publishing deal with a reclusive author. And Jennie Towne just wanted to get awayand got her wish by impersonating her twin, who won the weekend at the inn in a charity raffle. But it turns out that all three have one thing in common: Theyve been lured there by the same vengeful man. Hidden for the moment, fingering the satin-and-lace wedding gowns he made for each of them, hes planning the ultimate receptionfor better, for worse, or til death tears them apart. And as a powerful storm descends upon the isolated inn, there will be no way out. Explicit violence, language.

Three women are asked to come to a bed and breakfast on an island in teh middle of winter: one to meet a "blind date", one to meet a prospective client, and one as a "sweepstakes winner". What they don't know is that someone has it out for all of them in the ultimate case of revenge.

This was a great mystery with lots of suspense. While some of the characters were a little "extreme" (all good or all bad), it didn't detract from the enjoyment of this one.

On a windswept New England island, he waits, lingering the satin-and-lace wedding gowns he's had made for each of them...the dresses they will wear when he kills them.
Three women have come to the Bramble Rose Inn. For Sandy Cavelli, it's a chance to meet the romantic man who answered her personal ad. Liza Danning hopes to land a publishing deal with a reclusive author. And for Jennie Towne, it's an opportunith to get away, even if it means pretending to be her twin sister who won the weekend in a charity raffle. They're three women with nothing in common...or so it seems....
Now, as a storm bears down on the eerie, isolated inn, three women are plunged into a terrifying fight for survival. For someone has chosen them, someone consumed by revenge, someone who wants to have them all for better...for worse...til death do us part.......

Very good suspense novel, about a murderer setting up the women who hurt him when he was young.
