Beautifully written. There is much wisdom in the pages of this book which added to the story of the Fox and Elizabeth. I agree with those critics who said it was the best of the books written about Ralegh and Elizabeth, and, it had lots to say about Ralegh's abilities as a statesman with the Spanish! I had a difficult time letting this one leave my shelves....
