Not as entertaining or well-plotted as her Green For Danger, it's still an entertaining read, although the dialogue and actions are a bit dated. It's not a true locked room scenario, but referred to by the inspectors as a sealed room since the murder takes place on stage in front of thousands of people and the only exit was bolted from the inside.
For a better mystery that involves a murder on stage in full view of an audience, try Helen McCloy's Cue for Murder; for a better sealed room novel, try Hake Talbot's Rim of the Pit.
