A very pleasant writing style, the interesting background of rock climbing in Wales, an intelligent amateur detective and the usual cast of suspects make this a rewarding reading experience. It was interesting how the detecting was done and laid out and the information about climbing was both interesting and integral to the plot (and the map of the terrain helped, too.)
