This is my favorite book of the series, so far. The author really knows how to keep you interested in the story. I'm looking forward to reading the next one.

This book is a fun easy read, especially for those from New Jersey. Great to read laying on the beach. Highly recommended.

I loved this book as well as the whole series so far. A mystery with a dangerous storm coming and a skeleton found under the floor in the basement. What more could you ask for? The story moves from Anne Hardaway's house to an old folk's home where Anne finds out some interesting but very unsettling information that leads back to her mother and the psychologist who treated her.
Anne's house takes a beating from the storm, but it wasn't in too good a shape to begin with, and by the end of the book, she has her life threatened and not by the storm. This series is especially good if you've been to the Jersey Shore.

I enjoy the series, but the plot in this book moved a little more slowly than in the others. It still captures the unique culture of the Jersey Shore.

From back cover - "A brutal storm unearths a 20-year-old secret and the forecast calls for a chance of scattered murders. Ghostwriter [the protagonist] is a delightful mix of humor, pragmatism, and vulnerability."
