interesting book , i had read another from the same author and thought i'ld read this one . it has an imaginative storyline and does at times shine but it has a bit of lackluster moments and gives the effect of a Sherlock Holmes meets ET . Its actually a quick fun read i just didn't give it a great rating. has some alien artifact story involvement but don't confuse this with anything like a mcdevitt series. A enjoyable read for 3 stars
