Loved it. Ekizael âZael', former Captain of Selen's Alantian warriors, now a new associate for the Order the Lucien can trust, also the father to the breedmate Dylan Alexander who is Rio's Mate ( Midnight Rising).
Brynne Kirkland is one of the few female Daywalkers the Drago's played with the DNA to make but her âcocktail' is more Ancient in her human looking body, when she feeds or emotional you'll read and see what it means. She was a plaything for Drago's to torture and try to find ways to kill he. Brynne play a part to save Sterling's daughter (with a Rune) and also is the half sister to Sterling Chase's mate Tavia.

Brynne and Zael from the beginning has a connection that scares themselves and Brynne will keep Zael away from her or try to until their connection overpowers logic and fears. The ending will lead up to Trygg's story with a banished Alantian elder from Zeal's home colony, Tamisia in Midnight Unleashed.
