Yesterday I posted several books and two of them were wish list books.  This morning a third showed up as a hold.  How does that happen?  The third book is on hold so that the requester can confirm that he/she has the credit.

If the book didn't show up yesterday as a WL book, how does it show up today?  I thought that if it's not a WL book then you have to have a credit right away to request the book.

Are you as confused as I am?  lol

The requester could have had their WL on hold when you posted the books.

My guess would be the 1st oen was on autoreqeust and was probably cancelled and then it passed on to someone else-all while you away from your computer. The autorequest would have prevented it from going on WL hold for the 1st hr.  Some people keep everything on autorequest and then forget to delete books sometimes.

thanks for the replies.  I'm inclined to think that their WL was on hold because I have this terrible habit of checking back to this site several times a day.  lol

This came up after I went to bed.  I'm happy though.  : )
