Hi, I'm new and sent the first few books out using this system buying both postage and dc, but today i just bought the delivery confirmation and then went to the post office to mail them and buy the postage there. they scanned the item and then charged me the .18 cents dc AGAIN. i told her i had already paid it and they said i hadnt'. I'm almost posiitve that i payed that to this system but cant seem to access the record of that (does anyone know how to do that) and has anyone had that happen? It doesnt save money if you have to pay that fee twice! I kind of thought that when it gets scanned it just shows how much you have paid, or does it cost another 18 cents just for them to scan it in? thanks, Rose-Marie

Welcome to PaperbookSwap, you didn't pay twice. What you paid online is the PBS fee, this .27 doesn't go to the post office but to the website. On your wrapper it gives an estimate about how much the book should cost to mail then underneath says the delivery confirmation at .18 and then there is the total amount that will likely be due. I was confused when I first joined a few months ago too.

It is cheaper than paying for delivery confirmation from the post office and you get your credit for the book soon after the barcode is scanned.
