Gone Baby Gone is one of my favorite movies, one of the few that's really stuck with me.  I've never read any of his books, but was wondering how they compare with the movie of GBG.  I know there's a series with Patrick & Holly as the detectives, but is GBG the first?

How funny you posted this - I just wanted to come here and see if anyone had a few of the books on their shelves and if they would be interested in a deal.

LeHane is an excellent writer. I've enjoyed the 3 or 4 titles I've read so far.

I think the Patrick Kenzie/Angela Gennaro books are particularly good--they are all on my keeper shelf.  I do recommend reading them in order if you can.
