I was talking to this woman in line at the store the other day and she gave me the synopsis of a book she had just read and it sounded so interesting...  But wither I misheard the title or she mis-remembered, because I cannot find it, and she did not recall the author.  It was a True Crime, she said, and a tennage girl leaves for high school and when she returns home, her famiky (mother, father, brother(?)) are all gone.  It takes years of wondering and investigation, but she finally learns the truth as to what happened.  I thought the woman told it was called "No Time to Say Goodbye", but I can't find a book titled that.  Does this description ring any bells?  TIA!

i don't think it is true crime, though. I think it is a fiction mystery/thriller.

Yes, a very good book!  He has a few others too that are equally as good.
