I really liked this book because it covers a lot of good basics that I didn't know and really never picked up from magazines...like what is the architectural style of the house, choosing color combinations for paint and trim, driveways, lights, landscaping, fences, even stuff like garage doors. They have some before and after pictures of homes that made improvements so you can really see the difference the specific improvement made. I won't feel so overwhelmed and bewildered when I go to the home improvement stores now.
