I know it's a complete longshot, but my DH is finally playing Ico after finally finishing Shadow of the Colossus and he would love love love this book, even if it's not translated.

The book is titled Ico: Castle in the Mist.

As for the actual book I can probably get it for you. I actually own an anime/manga japanese import shop. If you are interested let me know and I can see if any of my distributers has it and how much if would cost.

On the off-chance you're still looking for this (since it's been months): I did some googling, and found this page, with info on the original publication of the novel and a 2008 reprint, including pictures of both covers.

Yesasia has the original for about $32, and the reprint for $22. They have free shipping over $39, and I've ordered there before with no problems (picked up a really nice anime calendar there a few years ago).

It's also available on Amazon Japan here and here, and they do ship to the US (though the shipping will cost more than the book).

They've also got the ISBN in both listings, which would help if you'd like to order it elsewhere.
