Hi Jamie,

I think the books that you have on your shelf are pretty common. Sometimes it takes awhile to get them moving;(

. If you have gotten any WL books recently I suggest that you read them and repost before you read any non wishlist books.

You can also look at the most wanted books at PBS and try to keep an eye out for them at library sales , used book stores or thrift shops.

Another good idea when you have more books is to do a 2/1 or 3/1 sale with your books. You just post in here.:D

I am going to send you 1 credit. :P

Welcome to PBS.

Click on the community button in grey at the top , then click on top 50, it will show you the top 50 wished for books. Or just look at my WL . LOL!

Also, if you want to post but want to see if you are posting a wished for book, add it to your reminder list and it will tell you if the book is a wished for book or if there are copies in the system.

Further down in the forum (vampsita) is requesting a 2/1 deal on Nicholas Sparks books.  I know you don't have many but you might consider offering, it would at least get you one credit.   I've only been PBS"ing since August but I love it.  Maybe to much.  The more you play the more you gain.  The first time someone asked me for a deal I didn't know what they were talking about but since I've discovered Book Bazaar and other forums I've made many and received many.

Welcome & Good Luck

Merry Christmas

Hi, Jamie!  I totally feel your pain, lol....but am glad things are starting to move for ya!

I just joined several days ago after being with another swap site for some time.  I thought I'd try my luck here because at the other site, I was unloading books like crazy, but not really finding anything I was dying to have.  Here, its the complete opposite!  There are literally thousands of books I REALLY want, but no one wants any of MY books!  I've had one request that will be mailed out today.

I'm trying to be patient, though.  Most of my books on my bookshelf have less than 100 or 200 copies available, and I figure that with as many members as are here, if I stick through it long enough, they'll move!  I'll also be implementing the tips in this thread!

Hehe, so time for a shameless plug alert...

Please check out my bookshelf!  All my books come from a smoke free/pet free home and are all in Very Good to Like-new condition (both my mom and sister have a bad habit of buying multiple copies without realizing they, or the other, already own the book, and thus, are given to me).  I'm open to any reasonable deals.

I'm also looking to RECEIVE any deals on paranormal non-fiction.  I'm a paranormal investigator, and am on this site specifically with the intent of expanding my research library.  I often lend out/gift out books to our clients and other investigators...plus I just have a personal interest in regional ghost stories, lol.

Thanks, and Jaime, sorry for the thread hi-jack!  Continued good luck with your swapping!
