A gallant attempt to dissect the downfall of Detroit is made by Mr. LeDuff. The political greed and corruption slowly destroys a once great American city.

I feel Mr. LeDuff left out quite a bit that led to the demise of Detroit because he focuses mainly on the political corruption of the city. It is also highly autobiographical; as if he was searching for something while he was writing it.
