The cover blurb compares this story & writing to that in Silence of the Lambs. The plot has some surprising twists, and even at the end I was left wondering about a few things. This author has written other books about Jack Paris, this book's protagonist, and some non-series books.

Fast paced, on the edge, sexual overtones--Jack Paris heads the task force in search of the serial killers seeking women with rose tatoos. Each page keeps you reading faster and faster as the story unfolds and you better hang on as you go as it takes a turn you just don't see coming.
