Cozy mystery that makes it a quick and enjoyable read.Ellie doesn' know what she is taking on when she agrees to babysit her aunt's house. Good story line and if you like animals, each has a personality even to the pet rat which "rules" the house. I liked it.

Romance, mystery, and the supernatural are all part of the mix in the story of Ellie, a young woman who agrees to house-sit for her Aunt Kate and care for the pets in a huge house in the Virginia countryside. I am never disappointed by Elizabeth Peters.
