This is a very typical Wilbur Smith novel, with great details about diamond mining in Namibia. Typical character development and plot, well recommended for fans of Smith.

A story that races with excitement. The information about mining diamonds is fascinating, as well as the complex relationships of the characters. Wilbur Smith writes believable story lines that hold your attention from the first page to the last. He does excellent research for each of his novels which gives them a depth of realism. He is one of my favorite authors.

Family drama and action related to owners of diamond mines. One of author's earlier books, which I enjoy more than his more recent novels. Good, fast-moving story of diamond mine operations.
