Was wondering if the Devil Series needs to be read in order, or can they be read as a stand alone novel?

I read 1 and then 3 and didn't feel like I had missed anything.

As to the order, I read them out of order and enjoyed them.  Maybe there's insights or character development that I missed because I wasn't aware of the linkage but it didn't stop my enjoyment of them.

Liked them.  Definitely tipped the "hot" meter for me but unlike others of the genre that I've glanced thru, her books have actual character development and a plot.

Hope that helps,

Jan

IMHO you can read them out of order but they do make references to characters from other books and make more sense if read in order.  Irish Devil's female lead is sister to the male lead of River Devil for example.  The feud with the eastern family in River Devil doesn't make a lot of sense unless you knew how the feud started in Irish Devil, and so on.  Great reading either way.
