Easy read, but I found the main character to be really superficial and it got to be annoying after awhile.

This was a wonderful read - well-written, humourous - a character that grows and develops with the story (reminiscent of the Shopaholic series delightful main character). A quick, easy read that provides excellent escapism from reality.

Freelance writer Lane Silverman is a typical New York singleton: she's searching for Mr. Right and trying to find her place in the world. Unfortunately, things aren't going that well. When she sells an article to Cosmo, however, her life takes a turn for the better.
