This book is loaded with helpful information and I have read through this a couple of times. It is sort of like a reference book. I think I might keep this on my shelf for a while, before I swap it out. The basic premise of the book is using amino acids to improve moods and eliminate food cravings. After reading this book, I understand a little more about brain chemistry and how important amino acids are to our brains functioning. What I found most intriguing is how quickly amino acids go to work. You can usually feel some relief within minutes. I have tried 5-htp since reading this book and feel a little bit of improvement in my mood, but it has not helped very much with food cravings.
