I just went to post a book to my shelf.  I entered the isbn number and a different book came up.  Did it twice to make sure there was not typo...

The book is "The War of the Worlds" and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" comes up.

It's odd that it's two such famous titles, but it sounds as if a publisher has recycled an ISBN.  You'll have to post War of the Worlds as a non-ISBN title.  Remember to include all the information you can, it'll get picked up more quickly that way.

What Jimi said...

Problem: the ISBN brings up a Listing Preview showing a totally different book than the one you have:

Explanation: This happens when publishers assign ISBNs to more than one title.

On PBS, only one book listing can be attached to each ISBN. The one you are seeing on the listing preview is the one attached to that ISBN at PBS.

Solution: You will need to post this book with a customized listing for the book, using the Post Books without an ISBN link on the Post Books page.

I've found this myself - there are a bunch of classics released by the same publisher that have the same ISBN for all the books, so unless you have the one book that has the correct ISBN, each will have to be posted without the ISBN.  In fact, I think mine (I have two or three different books from the same publisher) also come up as Huck Finn. :)
