I just finished this book and it was so much fun!

It's considered chick lit, yet I found it to be so much more.  It's almost as much about Chinese American culture and the relationship between the main character and her Grandmother, as it is about a romance.  I thought it was well written, informative, and very funny.  The author has an easy flowing writing style.

Anybody else read it?

I've had it on my TBR pile for a couple of months, but maybe I'll try to move it closer to the top!  Glad to hear that it was fun to read.

I read it a long time ago, but I remember I liked it a lot.  Isn't there a sequel?

Yep, Brenda, it's Buddha Baby.  I've got it on my TBR and hope I can read it soon.  The first one was very good.

I've wishlisted the sequel.  She has a light style that allows for complicated themes.  I like the relationship between her and her grandmother in the first book.
