Has anyone ever read these two fine novellas? Both are stories about what it would be like to meet Jesus face to face in a modern setting. I just finished Dinner With A Perfect Stranger and like it a lot. I had seen the movie by the same name early last year, and they wee a bit different. But, I still liked the way that Jesus was portrayed: as a friend, teacher, someone not afraid to challenge or rebuke you, but someone who always loved you and never stopped pursuing your heart. I just hope that I can talk someone here out of their copy of A Day With A Perfect Stranger soon. Oh, for the record, BOTH novellas have been made into feature length films and are available through most Christian bookstores or by visiting www.christiancinema.com. |

I have not read these books but they sound great. Are you going to post your dinner with a perfect stranger? |

Not until after my wife gets a chance to read it. When she starts, it won't take her long as the book is only around 100 pages. She is one of the fastest readers I have ever witnessed. She flies through books and picks up on details that I miss! I might end up buying the 2nd book in the series. I'll let you know when I post "Dinner With A Perfect Stranger", though. |

I have read both books and loved them. I gave Dinner With A Perfect Stranger to each of our Youth from our Youth Group as they came home from Work Camp this summer. Many loved the book and have passed it around and shared with others. I didn't know they were movies, I will have to get them for our church. Thanks for the info. Kathy |

I have also read both of these books, and they are keepers on my shelf! Both of them were wonderful, and I just sat still and thought on them for a while after reading them. I would recommend them to anyone. Now- where do I find the movies??? |
