A fun story of the wildly improbable interactions of the lives (and one death) of a number of individuals. In the end, only Dirk Gently can sort out what is happening and why, and his methods are unique.
This is a good read. Not quite as good as the Hitchhiker's series, which I dearly love, but good. Adams was a true genius. He is sorely missed.
