REALLY NOT WHAT I EXPECTED TO READ. FROM THE TITLE YOU EXPEXT A EXPO ON THE MILITARY. THIS IS TOO MANNY SHORT STORIES TO BE A GOOD READ, MORE A GOOD BATH ROOM READER.

I'm not sure why the book is titled the way it is. Lots of the information is not secrete and almost none of it could be considered, "dirty". The book is set up as a list of subjects with an in-depth explanation attached. If you like history, especially military history, you will enjoy the book. If you find history to be a dry recitation of facts and dates you would only find this book useful as a reference.

This is an excellent book and truly does cover many of the little known facts about WWII. Personally, I wish the book had been considerably longer and gone into even more detail, or that a volume 2 had been published.
