I've read books that I've remembered for a long time to come, but then there have been other books I've read that I've forgotten as soon as I've finished them. This is one of the latter.

And the bad part about this one is that the topics should have made me squirm. One of the main characters has been accused of child abuse. Therefore, I probably should have felt something for those who suffered from his abuse. However, the execution of the story was so dry that I kept losing my attention to what was happening.

The shift from past to present to the past again got old for me really fast too. At times it took me having to reread a line or two to figure out if it was set in the present time or in the past. I read this book about a month ago, but for the life of me I can't even remember how it ended. It's definitely not a book I would recommend.
